Beginner to Intermediate Microsoft Excel Class

This hands-on course is designed for individuals looking to build a strong foundation in Microsoft Excel, with a focus on both basic and intermediate skills. Participants will learn how to navigate Excel, manage data, create and format spreadsheets, use essential formulas, and analyze data with charts and tables. Whether you're new to Excel or looking to enhance your skills, this class will equip you with practical tools and techniques to increase productivity and efficiency in everyday tasks. This is a hands-on course, please bring a laptop to class. 

The class covers a wide range of topics, including:

  • Excel Basics: Navigating the interface, entering and editing data, working with rows and columns, and understanding workbook structure.
  • Data Management: Sorting, filtering, and formatting data for clarity and accuracy.
  • Formulas & Functions: Using common functions like SUM, AVERAGE, COUNT, and VLOOKUP to automate calculations and streamline data analysis.
  • Charts & Graphs: Creating visually appealing charts and graphs to represent your data effectively.
  • Conditional Formatting: Highlighting important data points or trends with color and formatting rules.
  • Data Analysis Tools: Introduction to PivotTables and PivotCharts to summarize and analyze large datasets.
