At AAGO, we believe in nurturing the future leaders of our industry. That's why we're thrilled to announce the launch of our 2024 Leadership Lyceum Program!

Named after the ancient Greek centers of learning, our Lyceum aims to be the cornerstone of leadership development within our association. We're dedicated to equipping emerging leaders with the knowledge and skills they need to shape the future of AAGO.

What is Leadership Lyceum?

The Leadership Lyceum course aims to identify and nurture volunteer leaders in multifamily housing. Through this program, participants will be empowered and equipped with knowledge in legislative advocacy, association governance, and education/professional development, inspiring both current and future association volunteer leadership.

Who Can Enroll?

Nominees must be employed by a AAGO member in good standing and have a minimum of three years of experience working in the multifamily housing industry.  We look at the candidate's employment history as well as their involvement with AAGO or other organizations. 

The Lyceum Program:

The Lyceum program for 2024 will consist of four modules with one being Zoom meetings and two as in-person events. (This is subject to change) 

Nominations:

Self-nominations are acceptable, or you can nominate someone you know who would be a candidate as a future leader for AAGO. If you are nominating someone besides yourself, please confirm with them in advance their willingness to take part and ensure that their company will support the time needed to complete the program.  An endorsement letter from his or her employer is also required for all nominations.
